Returns Policy

We want you to love your Little Loungers purchase. If something’s not right, here’s what you need to know:

Returns

  • You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and include all packaging.
  • Return shipping is at your cost.
  • We do not offer exchanges — please place a new order if you want something different.

Refunds

  • Refunds are only available for full-price items.
  • We’ll refund your original payment (minus our shipping cost) once we receive and inspect your return.
  • If you used a discount code, you’ll receive a store credit instead of a refund.
  • Allow up to 5 business days for processing after we receive your return.

Faulty Items

  • We offer a 6-month faulty claim period.
  • Email us with photos and your order number at Help@littleloungers.com.au
  • If your item has a minor fault, we may offer a repair or store credit.
  • If it has a major fault, you can choose a refund, store credit.
  • If the fault is confirmed, we’ll refund your return shipping — keep your receipt.

Important Notes

  • We don’t accept cancellations or changes after you’ve placed your order.
  • Colour may vary slightly due to lighting or screen differences — this is not considered a fault.
  • Damage from incorrect use or washing isn't covered. Please see Filling and care.

We aim to get your Little Loungers products to you quickly, safely, and with clear expectations. Here’s everything you need to know about our shipping process.

Free Standard Shipping – Australia-Wide

We offer free standard shipping across Australia. No matter where you live, there’s no extra cost at checkout for regular delivery.

Express Shipping

Need your order sooner? Express shipping is available at the customer’s expense. You can select this option at checkout.

No International Shipping

At this time, we only ship within Australia. We hope to offer international delivery in the future—stay tuned.

No Local Pickup

We are an online-only store and do not offer local pickup or delivery.

Order Processing Times

All orders are processed within 3–4 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

Estimated Delivery Times

  • Standard Shipping: 3–10 business days depending on your location.

  • Express Shipping: 1–4 business days depending on location.

Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates provided by the courier and are outside our control.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe, please check your tracking details first.

If the issue persists, contact us at Help@littleloungers.com.au so we can follow up with the courier. While we aren’t responsible for delays caused by the postal service, we’ll do our best to assist.

Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Filling & Care Guide

Filling Your Bean Bag Cover

Our bean bag covers are sold unfilled and require polystyrene beans or suitable soft filling to use.

You will need a paperclip, safety pin or similar tool to open the child-safe zippers, which are designed without a pull tab for safety.

Each cover holds approximately 350–400 litres of standard bean bag fill. Check your product listing for specific volume recommendations.

 

Filling Instructions: Video

  1. Unzip the outer cover and locate the removable mesh liner inside.

  2. Pull the liner out and open the drawstring at the top.

  3. Carefully tip the beans into the mesh liner, using a funnel or pouring instrument to reduce mess. Filling in a bathtub helps contain spills. Filling should be done by two adults to make the process easier.

  4. Once filled, zip the liner and cover together, then tip the beans from the liner into the cover.

  5. When you've reached your desired fill level, tie up the mesh liner drawstring tightly and tuck the liner neatly inside.

  6. Zip the cover shut using a paperclip.
    ⚠️ Please ensure you remove the paperclip before use.

Over time, the fill may compress with regular use. Keeping a little extra filling on hand makes top-ups easy.

Note: Adult supervision is advised during the filling process. Keep loose beans out of reach of children and pets at all times.

Care Instructions

To keep your Lounger looking its best:

  • Spot clean with a damp cloth when needed.

  • For a deeper clean, the outer cover can be removed and hand washed in a large sink using cold water and gentle detergent.

  • Do not tumble dry. Air dry flat in the shade to preserve fabric quality.

  • Do not bleach or soak — this may damage the fabric or affect the colour.

  • Avoid dragging the Lounger across rough surfaces to prevent wear and tear.

To wash the cover:

  1. Pour the beans into the inner liner and tie it tightly.

  2. Unzip and remove the outer cover.

  3. Hand wash the cover as above.

  4. Once completely dry, zip the cover back on.

  5. Untie the liner, tip the beans back in, retie, and tuck it neatly inside.

Important: Always follow the care label inside your product. Not following care instructions may void your right to a refund or return due to damage.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What age are the bean bag covers suitable for?

Our bean bags are thoughtfully made for kids aged 12 months and up—perfect for toddlers and big kids, but they’re also comfy enough for adults to lounge on too. 

Note: Adult supervision is strongly recommended for children under 3 years of age.


2. Do the bean bags come filled?

No, we sell bean bag covers only. You’ll need to purchase polystyrene beans or a suitable soft filling separately. Each cover requires approximately 350–400 litres of filling.


3. Where can I find filling instructions?

Filling tips and care instructions are included in your order and can also be found on our Care & Filling Guide page.


4. How do I care for my cover?

Covers can be hand washed in cool water or spot cleaned. Do not tumble dry. Always follow our full care instructions to keep your product in great condition.


5. Can I return my order?

Yes, full-priced items can be returned within 30 days if they’re unused and in original packaging.

6. Do you offer refunds for faulty items?

Yes, we accept faulty item claims for up to 6 months after purchase. We follow Australian Consumer Law, and if your product has a major fault, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or store credit.

7. Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship only to Australia. We do not offer shipping internationally  at this time bus hopefully in the future. 


8. Can I pick up my order?

No, we do not offer local pickup. All orders are shipped via tracked courier services.


9. Do you offer Afterpay?

Yes! We offer Afterpay as a payment option at checkout.
